Welcome to the  Spring 2025 Bungay Elementary Author Visit Event!
We are thrilled to welcome Connecticut-based author Lauren Tarshis to Bungay this March!

Lauren  will be visiting Bungay on Monday, March 23, 2026.
Lauren Tarshis is an American author of children's books, with several series of fiction, non-fiction and historical fiction works found in thousands of libraries and translated into several languages. She is the author of the New York Times bestselling series I Survived. ​
Ahead of this event, you have the unique opportunity to order personalized copies of Lauren Tarshis' books.  As you shop for her books, please follow these steps:

  1. Select the title you'd like to purchase,  complete the requested details (Grade: Teacher from the drop down menu and fill in the Student's Name field), and then hit the "Add to Cart" button.   A blue dot will appear next to the cart with the quantity once it has been successfully added.
  2. Once you enter your payment information (either through PayPal or credit card), the site will reroute you back to the checkout page, and you will need to push "next" once more to get to the final "place order" button.
  3. You should receive a confirmation email for the transaction.  If you do not receive this, it may mean that your order did not go through.  Please reach out to us at [email protected] for assistance.
  4. Please disregard any reference to "in-store pickup".  All books ordered by Friday, March 6th will be distributed to students at the school the day of Ms. Tsarshis' visit.
